Steel making plant with the annual capacity of 1.5 million tons

BISCO has an EAF furnace with a capacity of 150 tons and a time cycle of 48 minutes per melting plus an LF metallurgical furnace and VD technology

Remarkable features:

• The high diversity of the product portfolio in terms of production cross-section (billet, bloom, round, beam blank) and steel grade (construction steels and low-alloy and medium-alloy steels)
• Having up-to-date dust collection systems to refine the gas output from FTP following the world standards
• Capability to use HOT DRI in an electric arc furnace, reduce electric energy consumption, increase efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas production
• Establishing an electric arc furnace slag processing factory and creating various products from steelmaking waste
